The Town of Argyle's 2023 General Election will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023, at polling locations determined by Denton County Elections: https://www.votedenton.gov/.

The following Town Council positions will be filled in the upcoming General Election: Mayor (Bryan Livingston, Current Office Holder), Town Council Place Two (Ronald Schmidt, Current Office Holder) and Town Council Place Four (Cynthia Hermann, Current Office Holder).

Mayor (Alcalde)
- Residence - 1 year in state prior to the filing deadline; 1 year in city/town prior to election day
- Age - 18
- Must be a registered voter in the county elected from by the filing deadline
Alderman/Town Council Member (Miembro del Consejo)
- Residence - 1 year in state prior to filing deadline; 6 months in the city/town prior to filing deadline
- Age - 18
- Must be a registered voter in the county elected from by the filing deadline
The period for filing an application for a place on the Town of Argyle 2023 General Election begins on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, and ends on Friday, February 17, 2023, by 5:00 p.m.(El período para presentar una solicitud para un lugar en la Elección General de la Ciudad de Argyle 2023 comienza el miércoles 18 de enero de 2023 y finaliza el viernes 17 de febrero de 2023 a las 5:00 p.m.).
